Blowing the Wings off Christmas

Bruce sent this to me a few days ago, but I just opened it. I'm not one to get overly emotional .. unless we're talking about kittens, then all bets are off ... but this .. I found myself crying before it was over. Crying in a good way.

Apparently, Santa dress in purple. Who knew?

Nanaimo has been our home since August 30, 2005, when we came west with the circus.

It's true ... through gushing rain that gave severely limited vision and no small amount of road anxiety, the big trucks of the circus rolled through the night with us toward the West Coast. That's how we knew we were doing the right thing in following our dream of living beside the ocean. After all, who doesn't dream of running away with the circus?
