Lilies incoming ...

I should really be awake earlier in the day more often to take pictures in the backyard. These were astounding. For the most part, I've done zero retouching in my graphics program.

Nanaimo has been our home since August 30, 2005, when we came west with the circus.

It's true ... through gushing rain that gave severely limited vision and no small amount of road anxiety, the big trucks of the circus rolled through the night with us toward the West Coast. That's how we knew we were doing the right thing in following our dream of living beside the ocean. After all, who doesn't dream of running away with the circus?
