Me: I want to trade jobs.
Him: Hmm, okay. *hands me vacuum*
Me: No, not that. But if I never have to clean another bathtub again, that will be fine with me.
Him: No deal!

*Sigh*

Nanaimo has been our home since August 30, 2005, when we came west with the circus.

It's true ... through gushing rain that gave severely limited vision and no small amount of road anxiety, the big trucks of the circus rolled through the night with us toward the West Coast. That's how we knew we were doing the right thing in following our dream of living beside the ocean. After all, who doesn't dream of running away with the circus?
